Presentation
MECSYCO (Multi-agent Environment for Complex SYstem CO-simulation) is a software to model and simulate complex systems. It enables to realize heterogeneous and digital simulations from existing simulators.
This platform uses a multi-agent architecture to integrate different components of the simulation.
Development
MECSYCO is a common project between Université de Lorraine, LORIA and Inria.

Partnerships and Contributors
MECSYCO has been involved in several projects:
- With the support of EDF R&D in a joint effort with Inria, the MS4SG (Multi-Simulation for Smart-Grid) project insured the development of several important features (C++ version of MECSYCO, FMI wrapper, NS3 wrapper, Omnet++ wrapper).
- The LiveGrid project, experimental platform for smart-grids where MECSYCO was selected for the simulation part.
